My name is Yanick Wilisky, born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Got my first break in the industry in Paris, France where I got the opportunity to get trained as an animator for the 1st CGI TV show called "Insektor" in 1995. Energized from my experience in Paris I re-located to Vancouver, BC to join another talented team of animator for the CGI TV Serie Reboot and Transformer. A couple of years later, I decided to move back to my hometown and assume a series of senior & supervision positions at Hybride (worked on 300, Sin City, etc). Founded Modus FX in 2007 (120+ artists) where I supervised the visual effects for The Avengers, This is the end, Source Code, and more. I have since settled down in Oak Park with my wife and son (ROE) working remotely for Hybride as a producer on the latest Star Wars Saga, The Mandalorian, Jack Ryan, and Watchmen.
