Tinder
Tinder is a geosocial networking and online dating application that allows users to anonymously swipe to like or dislike other profiles based on their photos, a small bio, and common interests. Once two users have "matched", they can exchange messages.
Day-to-day Activity
Analytics Engineering Team
- In between the engineering team (builds data pipelines and the actual app) and the analysts (business focused and analyzes data)
- Works on getting performance up on new platforms, programs, and data bases
- Multiple virtual meetings a day to keep in communication
- Reviews individuals' data to continuously make improvements to the app and data bases
